Sport Need some help!!!

Sport Fitness
I have not had the best diet in the past and want to change to something healthy. I am a single male and do not like taking time to cook something elaborate and there for eat a lot of fast food. Also my soda intake is high. I have been cutting back on soda and drinking a lot of water. I am almost completely done with soda and will drink just water and Gatorade throughout the day. I know what I need to do I just need some ideas on food to help eliminate fast food. I work from 2pm to 10pm and sleep from around 2am to 10am. I keep this sleep schedule due to going out at night and having a life. So when do u think are the best times to eat with that sleep schedule without fouling up my body. I know i will be adding protein shakes into my diet to complete 6 meals but any ideas and some simple things to eat would be great.

What are your personal goals? Lose fat tissue, gain weight, general fitness, what?

What type of equipment do you have access to?

Best wishes

Chillen is the best person to help you, but a couple things about you're statement.

I am a big fan of gatorade after a workout, but at other times its not much better than soda. Its full of sugar and sodium and will add extra calories that you dont need during the day.

A good idea to save from cooking all the time is to make enough for 2 days. For example make enough chicken, potatoes and veggies and put half in the fridge for the next day.

Heres a couple things to read over that will give you meal ideas:

I am looking to lose fat not really weight. I am just shy of 6 foot and 230 lbs. but I am have large build. I wouldnt mind getting to about 215 lbs. My equipment i have available is running shoes, 40lbs vest I am using to run with, the Bowflex 1090 dumbbells and a weight bench that has decline, flat, 30 degree, 60 degree and 90 degree. I have a good workout plan i think. I have gone over it with several people into fitness and they approve. Its just the diet that gets me cause they eat more expensive and have spouses that cook. But yea the Gatorade would be primarily for after workout to get some of the important stuff back into my system. I will look at those links and see what I can come up with. I guess i never really thought of cooking for more then one day. Some people dont think of the obvious.

I have the iron gym bar and am also using that. My vest is Valeo WV40 i got from Amazon. Probably paid more then i really should of, but i knew it would be worth it in the long run. I really see no point in making sure if you dont have all day to work out to get the most out of each workout.
