Need Some Help

I weigh 335lbs. I lost 15lbs since Feb. 5th - my starting weight was 350lbs.

I started HIIT exercises and my weight has not only stalled, but my scale shows a gain of 5lbs! My measurements are the same - no change. Initially I lost 5" from my waist and 2" off my hips. I eat approximately 1800 calories per day.

Am I doing something wrong or am I just water-logged?

What do you eat every day? Nutrition plays a key role in weight loss. I've lost almost 30 kilos by living a healthier lifestyle , nutrition and exercise alike. Can you give some details or something? I'm no fitness trainer nor am I a nutrition expert but I have a blog that might or might not help you. I don't think that you need a personal trainer or a nutrition expert to be healthy. Maybe some blood test or the advice of a doctor will help.

Ive gone to my doc...tests are all normal and he says just keep doing what Im doing and I'll see results.

My meals are the same day to day:

Breakfast: Bagel w/1 large egg & 1 slice cheddar [real, not processed]

Snack: Fruit & Granola Bar

Lunch: 7oz chicken, veg [usually cooked veg like carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach - I cant digest raw veggies]

Snack: 1/2 bagel w/peanut butter [I have this at about 5.30 - that's when I get really hungry again]

Dinner: Whatever was for lunch. I cook once and eat twice.

PS...thanks in advance for the help :)

What time of day are you weighing yourself? the same time every day? and is it every day or once a week or once a fortnight?

If you weigh yourself straight after exercise, the results will be off. They will show an increase in weight as the muscles take on water and fluids and swell. This adds to your body weight. It goes down and returns to normal but until then will show an inflated result. The rate at which it goes down varies per person, everyones body will vary as people have different lifestyles, will train to different degrees, you may drink a different amount/too much/not enough which may water log your system or leave your body "holding on" to any water in fear of becomming dehydrated....many things can happen. The only thing you can do is keep a diary and see if you notice any long term trends.

Helpful Swedish Blog (translator)

I stumbled upon this site a couple of days agon and found that the site is amazing. It is a swedish blog but they have an translator that translates to english. They have a page that is called questions. I asked the a question about training in english and they answered in english right back the same day. Now i visit them every day.
google proteinparet and you should find them

I weigh myself 1x a week and at the same time every week because I know I can have fluctuations during the day.

I DID finally see a drop of 3lbs. I took a day off from exercising and that did it.

I think I was just water logged. I know I should be more patient, but when you're motivated and have SO much to lose, you want to see results.

Thanks to everyone for their replies/PMs/help.
