Need some help through ramadan!

Hey,

The month of ramadan is starting so I'm gonna be fasting. I'm gonna have a meals at 5am and not eat till 7pm! That's 14 hours I think so with my aim of gaining weight won't be great. I just want some help on what I should be eating at 4.30am so I can not only have a good meal with high protien but also that will keep me going through the day. Since I eat only halal food there is some stuff I can't eat.

I've read through a lot of topics and found some good receipes that I'm going to try but I need some more help.

nothing against Ramadan, but it's going to be tough since your body starts to go through starvation mode. Ideally, you should stay up most of the night and sleep during the day, but if you work or go to school, that will be tough. Trying to work out during Ramadan is also tough because you don't have the energy ... not sure how you have done it in the past, but I think you could get sick very easy if you worked out because it would be like overtraining.
 
I've never trained during ramadan so this time will be the first but I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I usually work out around 9pm so I have a couple hours of eating before working out which is hopefully enough!

I just wanted to know what kind of meals such I be eating at the time I can eat to maximize intake of protien and such.
 
Yeah that is going to be tough.. I was going to join in with my dad this year.. but I am literally starting my whole routine, and it will just post me for more than a month. Not quite of how effective it may be to double your intake in the period you can eat. Also once that mark hits 7pm.. start chugging water, and at 430 am. Not only is your body going to be rough on you from lack of food.. but also the lack of water in that time period. Just eat what you can when you can eat.. and more. Drink as much water as possible. Just eat during sunlight hours. I'm sure god won't mind. Seriously do you think he wants you to starve yourself in an unhealthy manner. I think not.

Fasting is an ancient and well respected religious act in both Islam and Christianity.

It isn't very nice to make light of his religious traditions and convictions.

Its called sacrificing to keep your faith strong in what you believe in. I'd just not talk pertaining to this subject. He asked for help.. not ignorance on what he should do.
 
yeh its hard specially for me because i work whole night till next morning
i cant find the time to work out , i just work out 2 times a week
