Everybody's going to tell you to watch what you're eating. Teresand and theliep say it best, so I'll just wait for them to respond.

How is your diet now? I'd guess if you're still seeing more fat than you'd like you need to improve it. If you give me an example of what you eat in a day I'll tell you how you can improve.

Do cardio after weights so that you have max energy when you're lifting. Especially if you're trying to gain muscle or get stronger.

Having that extra belly fat is the result of extra body fat. The only way to get rid of it (besides plastic surgery!) is through reducing your overall body fat. Since we cannot spot reduce (example- doing crunches will NOT reduce stomach fat) we must work on reducing all the fat from our entire body. Here are 5 tips to fat loss to get you going...

1) Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Each meal should be 2-3 hours apart. Each meal should contain one protein and one carb. The first meal should be eaten within an hour after waking.

2) Drink lots of water :)

3) Rest properly. This means taking at least 24-48 hours between strength training the same muscles, and it also means getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Lastly, it means taking 1-2 days off from exercising per week.

4) Cardio. This should be done at different intensity levels and different session lengths. Consider doing a low intensity/long session, a high intensity/short session and a few medium intensity/medium length sessions.

5) Strength Training. Strength train each muscle 1-3 times per week. You should lift a proper weight and perform the proper amount of sets/reps for your strength training method. If you need more guidance or exercise ideas you can head over

All of the above things combined will result in fat loss. Best of luck. Do strength training first- then cardio. This way you can dedicate all of your strength to lifting heavy weights. Your muscles won't be too tired to lift.
