umm well i'm a guy...and now that i've got a break from my schoolwork i've been enjoying a healthy and very active lifestyle, i see myself as pretty fit i do a good 30 - 60 min of cardio by biking around daily followed by about 30 minutes of freeweights, ab excercises and squats...my goal for the summer is to really tone that six pack which is going pretty well, im a bit worried since im about 6'1 the muscle will not show as good as someone elses with a smaller body type..but this is the least of my concerns. I used to be quite chubby a while back but i've managed to slim down extremely on the upper body, yet the lower body didn't really see much change and with a couple of seasons playing goalie for a ice hockey team that really helped bulk up my lower body and now its pretty muscular my only concern is that my butt would be a bit too big and although the majority of my lower body is muscle i still believe it would be good to lose that fat off the glutes and hamstrings which isnt much now, for about 3 weeks i've been focusing on this part and all and all i've seen very little change in the appearance, its still about 5 in. around larger than my waist so i dunno if thats a good thing or if it won't hurt to slim it down a bit. I've been doing about 100 consecutive squats nice and slow w/o any weights just to try and target some of the fat and im not sure if thats a good idea or not...im doing a lot of ab stuff on top of that to speed my metabolism a bit, i've cut down carbs in many of my meals by drinking only water or having a light salad or so and im also taking a protein shake once a day. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some input and maybe some suggestions on what i could do to speed up the results or any other good excercises that i should be incorporating into my daily routine. I'm determined to maintain the ammount of excercise i do daily for as long as it needs to go and am open minding towards anything.
sorry a bit of a long post but thanks for taking your time and reading it and hopefully providing some input
