Need some advice

Hi All,


I've been chubby my whole life, I love food and alcohol... I'm definitely a foody.:drool5: Food and drinks is a family routine any day of the week. I have just recently moved out of my parents house and thought it would be allot easier to lose weight since I will be doing all the grocery shopping and cooking. Plus I have a gym in my condo. It has been the complete opposite I've actually been eating junk non stop and gaining weight. :blush5: I keep telling myself every weekend that on Monday I will start eating healthier and working out. I know how to eat good as I lost over 20lbs about 3 years ago and kept it off for a long time. All I did was eat veggies, lean meats, and limit my intake on starches...which is my fav. I switched to whole wheat pastas and brown rice, and to sweet potatoes from regular potatoes. My problem is staying motivated. My fiance is not much as help as his diet consist of pop, chips and pizza. Can anybody suggest good methods of motivation or self activities? Also any good website with healthy recipes ?

It appears you should start with making a goal for both of you. Next, would be get rid of all that junk food in the house and replace it with better choices. Instead of saying "I'll start tomorrow" do it today. The longer you put it off the longer you are going to be over weight. Theres no better time than now to start. Esp with the holidays coming up people are more likely to gain extra weight but if you start today you can limit your food intake. Good luck.
