Need some advice......

I have certain goal I want to achieve. Besides loosing a bit of fat, I want to be ALOT stronger than I am.

Right now my max's are

Bench press-~220lbs
Dead lift-~350lbs
squat-~220lbs

My goals are

Bench press-350lbs
Dead lift-550lbs
Squat-400lbs

I have done much on the snatch. I'm going to be working on that as well.

I have two questions,
1st:Is it better to alternate upper and lower body workouts or do a full body workout every other day?

2nd: What would be the best way to reach my goals? (this may be alot to ask here)

I know it will take time and alot of work but I am really wanting to do it.

thanks in advance,

I would not expect to have significant strength gains during a cutting period. Can you get stronger when cutting down? Yes. Is it conducive? No.

I don't really think of myself as 'cutting'. I've been eating more(used to only eat one meal a day), mostly fruits and vegetables. I eat 5-6 times a day. What I've done is cut out my pop intake, fatty foods(ie. candy, fried, suger, and other crap), and started eating alot healthier. Also, I wasn't really very active before. So with eating right, and lifting ALOT more I've shed off several pounds.

Of course I'm still new to the whole health thing. When I was lifting, thats all it was. I just lifted. I had not diet, I ate what I wanted when I wanted. Sometimes it was salad sometimes it was donuts. Thats why I'm asking questions. ( or rambling as it would seem, now)

Thanks guys.

Those are some pretty huge goals.

I realize they are large goals but, I've done it before (several years ago) and I'm determained to do it again. The difference between then and now, then, I wasn't motivated to do it becuase I wanted to. I did it because I wanted attention and I had an apt for lifting and recovering quickly(besides it was the cool thing to do and I wanted to be cool). Now, I want to prove to myself I can do it again, and I have the determination, ambition, and ability to spend more time and effort to reach my goals. I've already gained alot. One month ago my max's were as follows:

Bench press-180lbs
Dead lift-250lbs
squat-190lbs

I'll read through the link provided.

I was thinking about doing the following

Tue-upper body(BP, Bent over BB row, BB curls, Shrugs, Weighted Situps)
Wed-Lower Body(Squats, Dead Lifts, Leg Ext, Hamstring pulls, Calf raises, Snatch)
Thur-repeat upper body
Fri-repeat lower body
Sat-full body workout.
Sun-rest
Mon-rest

Problem is, I think I need more rest time before the full body workout. There just isn't enough days in the week. :(
