Hi guys! I'm new to this site and I really hope I can find the motivation I need to reach my goal! Right now I'm 5'8" and 179lbs. and I'm 19. I really want to be 135 eventually but 150 seems like a reasonable goal for now. The lowest I've ever gotten was 161 but it was after not eating for five days... not the best idea if you are also active. Well, I started eating again and within a weekend I was back at 170... I know that seems impossible but carbs had never been my friend... ever. haha! Anyways, I don't know how much I'm supposed to ramble on but I guess you should know I'm in Army ROTC which requires a physical fitness test each month. They want me to be either 164lbs. or at 30% body weight (or less), both of which I am not. If I dont pass that requirement by the end of the summer, I may lose my scholarship (it's a full ride scholarship for those who are not familiar). You would think that would be enough to motivate me but for some reason it isn't... I got to the gym almost every day, I just get lazy and end up doing only ab workouts (which I love) and the bicycle (which does pretty much nothing for me). I've always known I had a VERY slow metabolism so lately I've been trying to speed it up by eating smaller meals more often. I am very impatient so I like quick results, which is where the motivation comes in... when I don't see results within a week I lose motivation... anyways... I guess that's enough rambling...
