About 2 years ago I lost 35 pounds. 171 down to 136. Over the past couple of years my weight has fluctuated between 136-148. Now it's on the higher end.
Here's my problem... I'm training for a marathon so I run about 25 miles (or more) a week, plus going to the gym for cross training but I have not lost a POUND in two months. I assumed I was gaining muscle, but my jeans are just as tight as they were before.
I try and eat reasonably, low fat food, never fried or full fat. I've had my thyroid checked... The only thing I can think is that I eat later at night because I'm a night owl. For the amount I work out, I should be rail thin. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice??? At this point I'm about ready to go eat some fries.
