Need help from the pros

Hello everyone, ive recently actually gotten interested in losing wait and began doing cardiology workouts of running
Lemme give you some quick backgroud:
I'm fat, undoubtedly, as of writing this post, i weigh 230 lbs
im 16
im about '5"9 possibly 10, maybe 8?
My goals:
Lose the santa belly, and attempt to get a six pack (i know it sounds generic)
heres what i can do:
3mi in 30 min, and 1 mile in 8 min if i really try
I heard cardio is great for weight loss, but it alos burns muscle, which defies the purpose of goal #2
also ive been reducing my calorie intake, or attempting to, ive lost about 10lbs this week, but my scale may not be all that stable so....this also means about 7-10 days ago i was about 240
I could really use some help and advice,
