need help deciding best way for me to lose weight.

I am a 20 year old male 6' 2'' and weigh around 240. I used to play soccer and can still run 1.5miles at a time i think. I try to eat subway everyday since I am usually out and about i get a club on italian with lettuce and mayo i no the mayo is bad but i don't get much. Most of my fat is in my obliques, i know i can't just target that area and lose fat there but id like to follow a diet that doesn't cost much seeing as i work at mcdonalds and go to college i can't afford great food all the time. If anyone could just suggest some diet or cardio (can involve lifting as i need to do that to)Thanks in advance

eating subway is NOT the way to lose fat. Just because Jared went from morbidly obese to just obese doesn't mean it works for you or that its healthy.

buying whole foods at the grocery store is cheaper than subway. read LV's grocery list sticky.

1. Nutrition - a clean diet with a focus on protein.
2. Sleep - 8 or so hours a night.
3. NEAT - Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis, which is scientific for getting off your butt and moving around.
4. Hydration - A steady supply of water helps keep the body happy.
5. Workout - A full body resistance training program 3x a week, supplemented by cardio (if you must).
