Need Advice ASAP On Weightloss!

Hey,

I've been looking forever for a weightloss website that isn't too complicated to follow, is easy to understand and has lots of simple tips. I need to lose a few pounds for my boyfriend lol, and am frantically searching for something to follow. Best I found so far was this, which is actually pretty close to what I was looking for. Do you know of any others I could check out?



I may just settle for this one, but I'd like to know what else you've found!

You could do worse than that site, but you could also do a lot better. I recommend reading this whole thread (it's only 10 posts long at this second in time, so it shouldn't take too much time out of your life) for some basic principles on training and nutrition for fat loss (nutrition wasn't anything that was originally going to be discussed in the thread, but I ended up talking about it in post #8 anyway). http://training.fitness.com/weight-loss/training-fat-loss-51064.html

Other than what you'll find in the above, focus on healthy choices. Healthy doesn't necessarily mean low-calorie, BTW, but it does necessarily mean high in nutritional value.
 
There are loads of sites on the internet for fat loss, I think the important thing is finding one you trust. You can spend a long time reading about it, but ultimately they boil down to:

- Consume less (calories) then you expend
- Exercise more than you do right now

Anything else is window dressing, but I would suggest you work out whether you would benefit from fasting, low carb, low fat, paleo etc diets - each has its own set of claims and champions, ultimately find one that you feel comfortable with and realize the purpose of any diet is to reduce the amount of food you're eating so your body will burn off some fat.
