Need a little help

hello guys, well I am 26 yrs old, 5'9 weight about 180 lbs. I been going to gym for the past 3 months and only lost 5 pounds. I am not fat or overweight, I just cant lose my belly. I am pretty athletic and somewhat muscular. I want to go down to 160-165 pounds and cut down body fat. Its been hard cause the first 2-4 weeks I lost 5 pounds but ever since I been stock on 180. I work 9-5 in front of a computer, and hit the gym with my fiancee 3 - 4 days a week. play occasional basketball or baseball on weekends.

What do you guys think about this DIET?

BFASt: lots of fruits w/ orange juice OR other days turkey sandwich w/ whole grain bread, bit of mayo and mustard, lettuce and tomatoe.

SNACK: a fruit or some nuts

LUNCH: chicken or meat, w/ a bit of rice, some veggies and salad and a banana. OR subway sandwich when I dont bring food from home.

SNACK; another fruit or nuts

DINNER: chicken or meat/ wit salad and veggies.

PLENTY OF WATER ALL DAY
 
You're most likely over estimating your calories burned and underestimating the calories you're eating. I'd suggest logging everything you eat everyday. It's easy to eat more than you think you are which sounds like it might be the case right now.
 
I am writing down everything, and based on my count I am eating about 1800-2500 cals a day. which is less than what I'm supposed to be eating based on my height, age and weight. So I dont know what's the problem. That diet I put there is a new one I will be starting on Monday.
 
you need to input weights an meausrements and make very sure ytou have the exact amount (not a guessed amount), even fruit has calories...
