Need a little help please!

I am aiming to lose 10lbs for the 1st October but i am really struggling. The scales just don't seem to be budging. I only weigh 113lbs, but i have a tiny frame and so i have alot of flab which i would like to budge.

I recovered from anorexia a while back, but i want to lose weight healthily before i go back to those ways which is scary. The more the scales stay still the more i think about restricting my food again. And i am trying my hardest to avoid that.

I eat about 1200 calories and do a little exercise each night. I can't do much cardio due to health problems, but i do toning work for about half an hour which i suppose keeps my heart pumpin harder. Usually my cardio lasts about 10 mins each night and usually toning and stretching lasts another 30 mins. I don't think i can fit much more into that so i can't add much more exercise.

What can i do to lose those 10lbs? I'm really down on myself and i need a pick me up lol

at your current weight, 10 pounds in one month, might be a lot... 2 pounds a week is considered safe to lose...

Have you checked with your doctor to make sure that it's safe to lose those 10 pounds?

Are you recording what you're eating in a food journal, perhaps your doctor could reccommend a food plan for you... If you've got medical problems, you want to keep yourself safe...
 
Uhm, to be fully honest here, unless you are around 5'0, you shouldn't even think about losing a pound. Now I do not know much about you, but I will offer this piece of advice. If you are a recovering annorexic, then you suffered from a distorted body image. And now, based on how much you weigh, and the likely hood of you being so short, you may still be struggling. The only way I know this is because I struggle with it every single day. When I look in the mirrior, or any reflective surface, I literally see John Candy reborn, but that is really not how I look in the real world.

Take an honest look at yourself, and ask if you ned to shed the pounds, ask if those ten pounds will cure what you see, or if it may be something different. And if you come to the conclusion that you DO need to lose weight, be safe about it:

No fads, no pills, no crash dieting. Just cut your calories by 200 to 300 per day, and up your excersize a bit. Mabey increasing in intesity every week (on the activity, not calories, leave them alone.
