I've been going to the gym and changed the way I eat about a month and a half ago. I've lost 25 pounds since then and thought I was doing everything right and healthy but I had just found I should be consuming around 3000cal a day but instead I'm only getting about 1500.
I've been looking over my diet which is filled with fish, chicken, vegetables, whole grains and fruit and don't understand how I could possibly get more with out over eating.
(this is what I ate today)
Breakfast: 3 eggs scrambled, with peppers and onions added, 2 100% whole grain slices of toast with a bit of butter on both
Snack 1: A cup of raw veggies (baby carrots or celery) and a piece of fruit (orange, apple or watermelon)
Luch: 2 tuna sandwhichs with a little bit of fat free mayonaise and baby spinnach and some more fruit
Snack 2: a cup of fibre 1 honey clusters cereal with skim milk and some more fruit
Supper: A big piece of boneless skinless chicken breast cut in two with a plate half filled with veggies (brocoli, carrots, cauli flower) and a piece of fruit for dessert
According to my diet tracker that comes out to about 1500cal unless I'm doing something wrong (first day using the diet tracker). I couldn't possibly eat double what I am now. How can I fix this and should I even attempt to do so or will 1500 calories be enough?
Btw, I'm 330 pounds and about 6'3.
