need a little help here

Hi everyone,

Because of being ill for a couple of weeks and not being able to exersize much, but still having the same appetite, I gained about 10 lbs. And it isn't muscle, that's for sure.

Now I'm pretty much better, and gone back to school again. Now some friends of mine have invited me stay for a few days in the vacation (starting the 28th of December.) One of the things we're gonna do is going to the swimming pool.

I bet you can see this one coming: I'm a bit out of shape and I'd like to look a bit alright in a bikini. Any tips on losing fat and toning up a little, in a short period like this?

Thanks in advance

ok so what do you do now for exercise?? what are your eating habits?? i love when you all post these and put no info for us. can't help if you don't give us info. and how old are you?

heh I get what you mean about posting no info. About the exersise: like I said, I haven't been able to do much past few weeks, but I've started to pick it up again. If everything goes as planned, my exersise during the week is this:

I go to the gym twice a week (tuesday and friday) for an hour. Things that are alsways included: 10 minutes of cardio (treadmill / crosstrainer) some weight lifting, 2 lb each arm, (3 sets of 15 times.) 50 crunches, hometrainer (bike) for another 10 minutes. I walk the dog 2 times a day, 20 minutes in the morning, 45 minutes in the evening.

When it comes to diet, it's still a mess. There were 2 birthdays this week with the included pies, snacks (also in the evening,) and other foods that contain a lot of calories. When I was ill, my parents practically stuffed me with food, I don't even remember exacly what I ate. It was a lot, I do know that.

But I have a diet planned for myself:

morning:
1 bowl of oatmeal (150 ml) (cooked in skim milk, sweetened with the artificial sweetner)

Lunch: 2 slices of bread with either eggwhite ommelete on it or sliced turkey.

dinner: chicken with veggies and brown rice.

water 6/8 glasses.
Snacks: some dried plums or figs. Or some light yoghurt.

That enough info?
