Today is D-day...let the dieting begin!

I'm 27 yrs old and 5'7.5

CW: 178 lbs

GW: 114-120 lbs

1st Mini-GW: 169

2nd Mini-GW: 159

I want to lose 58-64 lbs

I would like to weigh 120 tomorrow :rolleyes: Actually I want to lose 30 lbs by new years, but it will be more like 20 lbs actually.

I haven't drank soda for about 5 years now, so its only water for me anyway. No Fast food. Period the end. I didn't eat fast food for a year before during my health kick. I just have to find that resolve again and stick to it! Fresh natural foods. Actual portion sizes not the whole bowl, box, can etc. Portion sizes are my biggest down fall. Going for a 30-45 min slow jog aka fast walk :p every other day and pilates. I tried the Firm workout system but I'm simply to retarded to get the moves down. I attempted to workout to it for a week but half way thru I'd just give up and sit on my stair stepper and watch them. I was born under a very uncoordinated star. So that is scratched off my workout list.

Wish me luck tomorrow, I have a baby shower and a birthday dinner to attend. I swear this is an evil test...even tho I've know about them for months.

Positive update!

It is 11 pm and I've managed to resist temptation...despite the fact my BF had to stop and get McDonalds on the way home. God the fries smelled awesome. I may have gained a lb from sniffing so hard :) I went right up stairs and signed on the forum instead of watching him eat it.

Another part of my diet plan is no eating after 5 pm, I did that before and it seemed to work well for me.
 
Well done for resisting temptation.

You are so good with already having converted to water and adopting a 5 p.m. curfew. I dont think I could cope with a curfew that early.

With resolve like that I am sure that you will get to your goal in no time.

Day 2

Jumped up out of bed this morning, went pee, got naked and hopped on the scale. I had to see some sort of results today. Something tangible. I was granted my wish. I lost 1.4lbs. Woot!

I am very nervous about my sister's baby shower this afternoon...we are having pizza and crap. Would it be rude to bring my own food? Measured out with calories counted. I have been known to eat a whole pizza. Later that night I have my BF's grandmothers Birthday Dinner at some fancy steakhouse. Yay. NOT! This is really going to be a huge test to see if I am actually going to change. I'm not saying next month I won't have a slice of pizza, but now my resolve hasn't reached concrete status yet. The sidewalk is still setting up. :)
 
Day 3

Fantastic news! I managed to stay true to my resolution to a new me. It was really hard. At my sisters baby shower the pizza smelled so good. I wanted to eat a whole pan of bread sticks, but I didn't.

Food Intake for the Day

1 cup of egg beaters (4 eggs)

2 9oz cans of tuna in spring water

2 HUGE salads w/ fat free Italian dressing
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Carrots
- Cheese (2% cheese)
- Croutons

1/4 cup of mixed nuts

...and Many alcoholic beverages! Only thing I feel slightly guilty about yesterday.

Weigh in: 175.2 lbs

Loss since last weigh in: 1.4 lbs

I'm super happy I'm at least losing for the moment even if its only water weight/ bloat...
