Name something that you have cut out of your everyday bad eating habbit's.
I am proud of 2 thing's one I used to be a BUTTER freak I mean a 1/2 a stick for 1 baked potatoe, mash potatoes, corn ect. Now I am satisified with the butter spray even tho I spray a few too many then it requires.

Another is soft drinks AKA MOUNTAIN DEW! I would have only 3 a day but they are the worse pop you can have and soda 's are known as empty calories and sugar.I now drink the heck out of water and can't stand the taste of pop.

I took cut out soda a little over a month ago, and I have to say that I don't even have the urge to drink it anymore. Pass me the water please!!! I gave up a lot on the snacks too. Little Debbies and what not. Now, I have those little 100 calories ones and I only limit myself to one a day and have fruit or a yogurt for desert!

I'm most proud that I lost 50 pounds in 3 months. Also, that I have not had ANY pizza, soda, cookies, cakes, pies, sweets, potatoe chips, crackers, or crap food in general since March 6th, 2007.

One thing I am is Strong, but I sometimes falter, but I get right back up.
But now I need all my strength to reach my goal of getting down to 150.

I am strength and conviction.

btw: intro: I am new here and I would love to be apart of this thread, because I think I need a little more self confidence.

Sometimes I don't think I am strong, but I think I have come this far, than I must be strong. I guess I have to prove to myself that I am strong enough for the life I soo want to lead and part of it is being at a comfortable weight, being comfortable with who I am, and my own body.

Thanks

I HAVE CUT out coke, which I am so happy. Ever since I was a kid my father and I would crack open a cold coke on a hot summer day. Since the weather is getting warmer, I have been drinking water. To be frank, I haven;t even craved it! Also, I have cut out Mcds, Burger King, Harveys, other fast food!

My next goal would be chocolate. I am a chocolate lover, I hate chips, but I love chocoate!

Hey,
I am proud that for the past week, I have exercised, except for one day, and that I just finished a VERY HARD forty five minute bike ride. I am totally shocked in myself. I can't believe the hills I just made it up ... :jump:

I live in NEngland...so ..its interesting up here...

I went down some BEAUTIFUL country roads ... watched the sun catch through the forests ...and the movements of the trees and grass across the fields during the windy times ...

it was so magnificent ...and I will be doing it again ...tomorrow!

yea!!

UHM I have very exciting news. I hated the university I go to (I am currently in my 3rd year) and I recently got accepted to the university that I've wanted to go to for 3 years :D

Exercise related: I have been consistently working out everyday and i'm proud of how determined I can be as well :D

I'd like to be able to run someday...I don't understand why I'm so chicken lol

You know what you do .. I used to be on the treadmill and was so afraid to even try to jog or run ..or anything

well first I started jogging in my house in place ... and that prepared me for the movement in my knees ...the new kind of exercise ...

thats really where you start ..and than take it outside or do it on the treadmill ...the more I did it inside ...the more I did it outside ...it was highly interesting ...cause I never imagined I could actually do it ..
now I have to start over again ...but I know I can do it ...

best wishes

i am proud that:

- i exercise 6 days a week
- i cut out most sugar
- i stopped drinking full calories pop (i will have a no calorie one once in a while)
- i used to eat fast food approximately 5-6 times a week and now i eat fast food almost never (except for the odd pizza and subway)
- i eat better now - whole grains, nuts, fruits and veggies, lean meats
- i eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. i used to only eat two meals a day and one snack at night maybe. In fact, it wasn't uncommon for me to have mcdonald's for lunch and pizza for dinner and 2 nanimo bars for snack, all washed down with coke.
- i have lost 20 pounds so far in about 7 weeks.

that's such a good idea!!:D I am definitely going to try it, the last time i tried running a couple of blocks and I threw up..I don't know if it was the fact I ate a huge meal and didn't wait for it to digest or if I wasn't used to that kind of movement, but it totally scared me!

Only a Bottle of Water...

I am proud of walking into McDonalds today with my mother ..use the ladies room and mom walk out with a medium fry and small soda
and I just walked out with a bottle of water...
not bad guys ... that is something to be proud of ..
and tomorrow I am going to an hour or more bike ride!

yea!!

well I will report on it tomorrow

IF its in hot weather ...
wait awhile before you totally digest your food ..
that will make you want to throw up ...
and mix water with gatorade
you lose sugar when you do any activity outside in the heat
so bring gatorade mixed with sugar and drink every few minutes probably

it will keep you going ..and the sugar won't matter ..because your running it off and sweating it off ...
but a low sugar level will make you throw up, dizzy ... etc ...

Have Fun, but be safe! :)

This is a good thread for me, as I usually spend my free time berating myself about my weight. Let's see, I'm proud of the fact that I've not only gone mostly vegetarian (still eating fish), but I've also made the jump to whole grain pastas, cereals and breads.

I'm also proud of the fact that for more than 3 weeks now I've exercised every single day, including cardio- which I hate!
