Nachoote going from CHUMP to HUNK !!

Hey everyone! It's good to have come to this place where I'm finding SO MUCH useful information to get my journey started on the right foot...

Well, I'm a 24 year-old guy who's just coming out of a LONG extremely sedentary period and trying to get this part of my life handled. I'm about 187 cm tall and weight 120 KG, which as you can tell is WAY TOO MUCH! :cook::cook:

My overall goal is to have an intense yet realistic approach to this, and focus on weight loss + some muscle gaining/toning. I've been reading quite a bit these past few days and I've decided to go with one good weight lifting session one day, some light cardio the next day, and so on...

As to the diet, the approach that seems most sensible to me is to basically GIVE UP ALL SORTS OF CRAPPY FOOD, and stick to a rather generous balanced diet of 2000 Kcal consisting of healthy, mostly unprocessed food.

Do you think this approach makes sense? I'd really appreciate it if any more experienced guys out there could give me some advice. BTW if it's of any help, my current BMR is of over 3200.

Well, I'll really appreciate your support and look forward to stay around for a long time !!

Cheers,
Nachoote
