Myth..True or False?

I have heard that if you lift weights to where you can actually "feel the burn" and you havn't got down to the weight you would like to be, that the fat turns into muscle and you could end up being biger than intended. Rather that getting down to your goal weight and then toning.

Is this true or false??

Fat does not turn into muscle. Although when people first begin working out and eating right, they are able to gain muscle mass and lose fat. So technically you could stay at the same weight while still losing fat. The best way to know if you're making progress is to take your bf%.

if you weigh 900 lbs.. weight is important

The numbers dont matter, a man can be 300lbs and all of its is fat -thats bad, but then he could be 350lbs of pure muscle - thats good.

so its how healthy your are, how you feel about yourself and how functional your body is that matters.
