Mysterious Stomach Pain

Four years ago I developed a feeling like a bad stitch in my right side that has never been diagnosed. The pain came on during a run and, not thinking much of it, I kept going. When it didn’t go away after some months, I saw a sports doctor and got an ultrasound, which showed nothing, and an MRI, which showed a torn muscle in my rectus abdominus (it’s not a hernia). The doctor didn’t know how to treat me, and I have since seen umpteen sports doctors, physios, acupuncturists, and osteopaths, none of which has ever been able to diagnose or help me. I had laparoscopic surgery in February, which showed no abnormalities in my stomach at all.
The pain may or may not be linked to a fall from a horse I had prior to the onset of my injury. I fell on my back but it has been fine since then. However, I wonder if I’ve thrown my right leg out of alignment, as it always feels slightly “crooked” when I run or walk, and the pain is only brought on by activities that involve both my stomach and my legs. That is, riding the stationary bike doesn’t bother me.
I have tried almost everything that I know about to help reduce or eliminate the pain—which has varying degrees, but is usually so bad I cannot keep going—and am beyond frustrated at this point. If you have ever heard of anything similar I would be really interested in hearing your thoughts. Thanks.
