Myotein Protein!!! Help Please!!!!

I'm actually cutting fat right now I have lost some wheight, but my muscle aren't growing anymore because a dont use protein multivatiamin or anything just eating to fuel my muscle... what do you recommend???

That product seems like it contains a lot of useless ingredients. For instance, there is no need for three types of whey protein in a mix. Just getting one type will suffice. Also, casein protein isn't very popular due to its indigestibility. Glutamine, in contrast to very popular beliefs, has little to no actual effect on the body.

The mix also tries to compensate for the high amount of lactose in the product by adding lactase (the enzyme that digests lactose). However, a powdered form of lactase would just be destroyed by your stomach acid. Then there's the sucralose. I religiously stay away from anything that contains artificial sugar.

Honestly, when it comes to protein powders, I see no reason to go for the fancy mixes. It would be much more worth your buck to just buy a pure protein supplement such as whey or whey isolate, either with just a bit of flavour or get it plain and mix it with your own drinks.

Great Product

I have only been taking Myotein for 1 week, here is my initial feedback.

Purpose: I bought Myotein to get a more cut look. I am 24yr old, 5'9 weighing 160 pounds prior to taking Myotetin.

Myotein: The bottle recommends that you mix 2-3 scoops with 8-12oz of water or milk, and drink 1-4 servings per day. The bottle recommends you consume as many grams of protein as you weigh ex/ If you weigh 160lb you consume 160g of protein. I on the other hand wouldn't reccomend doing this unless your sole purpose is to gain weight.

My use/advice: Myotein has been great for me because it has filled my junk food voids. I drink two shakes a day that contain 3 scoops of myotein and 12oz of skim or 1% Milk. I drink one first thing in the morning for breakfeast, which is easily filling enough to hold me until lunch. I then drink one when i get home from work which is my usual junk food binge. I then wait an hour - 2 hours before i go work out. I could see Myotein being a very good post workout drink the only problem is that these shakes are very filling. I can't imagine drinking one with a meal. (most likely why one person on this board complained of bloating :)

My Take on Myotein: I love this product thus far. It is working geat as a meal replacement and I am feeling great through-out my day. The taste is very good in my opinion, milk makes it a very creamy shake substance. In one week i have gained 3.5 pounds and am starting to see more definition. The biggest selling point in my opinion is the muscle recovery. You really start seeing the performace increase through your stamina. I started getting a couple extra reps in my 3rd sets very early in the week, and just felt very good after workouts and the morning following. Overall i see great results coming out of this product.

The actual reason why you aren't getting muscles anymore is because you had hit a platou, not spelled right. Which means you had worked out so hard your muscles arent going to grow
