My weight loss success story

It is hard to lose fat. I found something that works for me. I wanted to post it to try and help anyone. I would feel good if I could just help 1 person. I know my way is not the only way nor is it the best. But I hope it will help you.
First off I am a very active male. I don’t know how many calories I am supposed to eat in a day. I don’t eat more then 1500 I know that. I currently weight 172 I used to weight 215 lbs.
It is hard to do 1 hour of cardio a day plus eat fewer calories than what is required to sustain your current body weight. My philosophy was to burn more calories a day than I ate. This is so very hard to do. When I eat fewer calories than I should I get very cranky, very moody, and very very tiered. So I started taking B complex vitamins which help with increasing energy and metabolism. I also take energy pills, the kind I took when losing fat xenadrine efx. I need to do this so that I can work out when all I want to do is eat and sleep. I am not trying to sell this pill any energy pill will be fine. I don’t take it anymore now that I am the weight I want, and I have not gained any weight after I stopped taking it. Just make sure you continue to eat good forever or else you will gain the fat right back and probably more then you had before.

Breakfast: I eat a source of protein + a carbohydrate + a lot of water.
Snack: Water and protein powder
Lunch: I eat a source of protein + a fruit drink I blend myself. I buy like 6 different kinds of frozen fruit and use organic apple juice to blend them.
Snack: Water and protein powder
Dinner: Protein + Carbohydrates + some sort of vegetable.
Few hours later before bed: Chicken or tuna + lots of water.

Now that I am the weight I want with the body fat percent I want I eat the same thing just a little bit more because I don’t need to burn fewer calories than I eat.

I eat only food I cook as in I don’t eat fried chicken anymore from KFC nor any type of protein bar or anything that is processed. I only eat organic food. I take about 10 different types of vitamins daily some twice. I only eat raw fruits and vegetables.

Work out:
Monday-Sunday: I do cardio for as long as I can I usually shoot for 1 hour.
Monday-Friday: I train in a martial art called Jiu-jitsu for two hours a day.
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: I strength train at the local gym for about 30 minutes a day.

I am no expert, but I have done my research. This is not for everyone nor is it the formulated recipe I read day in and day out. I guess the main thing I wanted to stress is that you have to find a lot of motivation and a lot of energy to be able to work out when you don’t eat as mush as you want. It is easy for some people to say what you should do when they themselves have never had to go through what you need to. Do what you yourself test and consider to be true.

Good luck to all

I like your post and thank you for posting it. I realize you say this isn't for everyone and you're not an expert. Thank you for being honest.

I am an expert and I want to post my thoughts here as well. The above is filled with some good things and some bad things. Organic, un-processed food is the way to do!

Other than that, I don't agree with much. If the plan above sounds like something you want to try, I urge you not to. You may see results, but at what cost? ;)

You eat under 1500 cals per day and you are a 170lb male? That is way too low. You may lose weight, but your metabolism is going to shut down and when you eat normally again, you will gain it all back plus. You might want to slowly add some calories until you are eating about 15 x your bodyweight in cals to maintain.

If you went from 215lbs to 172lbs that makes you an expert at something. Something that few ever experience. Melting off over 40lbs of body fat is a journey.
