hi guys im new here, and thought i would post in here as i think its a really good idea.
does anyone else from the UK post here? i hope im not intruding.
anyway. im a 25 year old female, about 5ft 9ish in height. in september i hit my heaviest weight, which was 18 stone 3 lb, so i decided i needed to do something about it.
im on tablets from the doctor, xenicol, and with them i have to eat a low fat diet. I have completely changed the way i eat, dont have any sweet stuff anymore, and i generally cook everything from fresh. my portion sizes have at least halved and i now eat breakfast, i never used to. Ive also joined a zumba class once a week, go on the exercise bike at work on my lunch break and i have started runnin, though with this cold weather at the moment i prefer to run on my trampet.
from september til now i have lost 2 stone 11lb and am now down to 15 stone 6.
my goal is to be 12 stone so still have over 2 stone to go, but i believe i will acheive it if i stick to what im doing.
i feel ive sorted my diet out enough to do it on my own now without the tablets. i feel so much better its unbelievable, and have even bought a dress! something i havent worn for about 12 years!!
as well as starting to lose weight last year i quit smoking and became a vegetarian.....both of which ive managed to sustain so far
