My weight loss crusade

Hi, the names Dan. I started on Monday the 25th October 2010.
I really, really...reallly really really want to be slim for my birthday in February 2011.

No strict rules, cause I found out by experience that setting rules only makes me want to break them.
. Cutting down/out all rubbish, ie chrisps, fizzy drinks, ready meals
. Cutting down on alcohol
. Getting excercise atleast every other day


. I am 5ft 7inches
. 20 years old
. From Worcester in the UK


I previously came down from 17 stone since 2006/7 and am now weighing in at 15stone. I did this by going on and off diets and growing older.

Over the next 4-6 months I want to drop from 210lb (15 stone) to 182lb (13 stone).

Total weight to lose = 28lb.

2lb per week loss, x 12 (weeks) = 24lb lost.
If I just try to stick to losing a healthy 2lb a week, I can lose 24lb in just 12 weeks. Let's do this :)

I have attatched a picture, I had a baaad hangover that day :)






WEIGH-INS
Week 1 :25th Oct: 210lb /15 stone
Week 2 : 1st Nov: 14st 12lb
Week 3 : 8th Nov: 14st 9lb
Week 4 :15th Nov: 14st6lb

Week 5 :22nd Nov: Setback (girlfriend left me, put on weight)
Week 6 :29th Nov: Setback (girlfriend left me, lost the weight)
Week 7 :6th Dec : 14st 5lb
Week 8 :13th Dec: 14st 2lb

Week 9 :20th Dec: CHRISTMAS BREAK, EATING AND DRINKING LOADS :p
Week 10:27th Dec: CHRISTMAS BREAK, EATING AND DRINKING LOADS :p Was 14.7 but excercised and dropped to 3rd of jan weight (14.2)
Week 11:3rd Jan : 14.2lb
Week 12:10th Jan: (I think im gonna be under 14 stone by this date :D :D :D


My birthday is in February, I could be slim by then!!! :)

That's not a current picture is it as you don't look at all overweight and certainly nothing like 15 stone?
Well done on the weight loss so far and good luck on losing more.
LOL my 20 year old daughter just looked at your photo and said "Who's he, he's hot" :D
 
Thankyou sweet. Ah bless her lol, pictures can be deceiving. Yeah it was taken a couple of days ago...I have a beer belly and man boobs, I just want to be rid of them both :)
 
You don't look 210lbs at all! Well done on the losses so far and good luck! Sure your scales aren't broken though!? :p

Well today I had;

Half a bowl of cherios with 125ml semi-sk milk
Pasta/Ham with philledelphia sauce
Chicken, a few chips and mushy peas.

Not too bad, going to go for a short run soon
 
by 'half a bowl' do you mean half a serving??? if so, why? istn' a serving of cheerios like 150 cals??
 
well, not really half a bowl, just measured it out like it said on the back...had about 30-40g of cheerios I think, wasnt a full bowl, wasnt half a bowl :)
 
Sorry I havnt kept you posted guys, my internet has been cut off. I've lost my 2lb this week, think I'll lose a bit more this week maybe because I have circuit training tonight, kickboxing tomorrow (signed up the other day) and maybe il go circuits on thursday too.
 
Hi guys I still have no internet at home!! I cant wait for my weigh in on the 15th, im weighing in at 14st 6lb now, iv lost over half a stone! It's cause I started kickboxing, circuit training and hit the gym ;) I rekon Im gonna lose 4-5 in the next week.
 
Down to 14.6 now guys and have brought a load of healthy food and have an excellent diet plan, hope to be under 14st by the end of Jan, probably sooner!

You don't look nearly the weight you claim, and are handsome on top of that.
Regardless, kudos on setting small, reasonable goals, and a notable date by which to reach them.

Thanks guys, I had a really hard gym session today and have eaten well, hoping I may have pushed 14.4 by tomorrow from the big run I did :) I have QUIT SMOKING! 2 days without a cigarette and 8 days without alcohol. Im so proud of myself.
