My Stomach is big or what?

Hello guys,

I'm a bit frustrated. I've been trying to get a flat stomach for months now but with no luck. I have a big belly looking shape. There is no fat, in fact at some point my fat percentage dropped below normal and my nutrition went crazy on me! I don't know what's the deal with what I have... I'm 144 pounds, 5.6'', 25 years old male.

Here is a side photo:

I train hard, and I'm eating healthy food, small portions about 4-5 times a day. When I flex I can see my upper abs and a bit lower definition.

Please help me out, tell me what is this, how to make go away!!

Thanks :)

looks fine to me :)

Perhaps your posture isn't as tall as you could be.

If you stood how a king or knight might stand I'm sure it would make a difference as to how far your belly stood out. Imagine a piece of string is attached to your head and lifting you up into the sky. That might help your posture.

Other than than, you can lose more fat and build more muscle if you want to get in better shape.

Your stomach doesn't look big to me. Your posture is what's letting you down. Been there, done that. Learn to lift your chest. Learn to tuck your butt under while standing. Learn to use your transverse abdominis to draw your abs in. Stretch your lower back and hip flexors. Work on your upper back extension and mobility.

As what I can see, your stomach is not that big, shall I say it is close to flat tummy. Have you tried correcting your posture? That might help, also consider the exercise that will concentrate on tummy.

Not bad exercises, but I disagree with how much hyperextension he's got going on in the low back. IMO, the focus should be on learning how to activate and use the scapular retractors (activating muscles between the shoulder blades) and depressors (activating the muscles that pull shoulder blades down). These exercises will probably make people feel like there's a lot going on back there, but my guess (from experience with clients) is that most of the muscle activation will be happening in the low back and shoulders/neck.
