hi, ive been working out my pecks lately and my left is bigger then my right; and i am right handed. how do i even them out? thanks

You can use dumbell exercises using the same weight for both sides untill the small side catches up.

yup just about anything where they do the work seperatly. if they're @ the same strength level, then some cable flys would work well to visually even them out. but if there is a strength difference, McCarley is right, definatly dumbells!

well...

should i do inclined, declined or just flat bench when doing it?

also, are you sure i should use the same weights for both hands?
well, you guys are the experts.. so i guess so.

Same weight, yes. Eventually they'll even out. You don't want to be constantly battling disproportions. If you use more weight in your underdeveloped side, you risk changing the way it looks and overworking the synergist muscles (so you might end up with incorrectly developed lats, tris, and biceps as a result -- you don't want that!)

Use the same weight for both sides. You could prob stick to your same routine, just use dumbells where you can - I find it hard to believe that your pecs are the only thing that's "off" - so I would stick with a good routine and just use dumbells instead of barbell.

For this specific issue, dumbells are going to be more effective because with barbells, he is more likely to use his stronger arm to support his weaker arm -- whereas with dumbells, both your arms are relying solely on their own strength.

Yeah! I had this problem with my lower back. I did rowing at the bench with dumbells, not healthy for your back bone, but still...
My laft rower could row 16 reps with a 16 kilo dumbell, my right could barely do 12 with a 10 kilo dumbell, they looked the same, so I tought that it was my stand that's not good (caz when rowing with free weight you change your stand for each side), but the instructor said I do it perfect. All I had to do was to stick with the 10's and slowly increase while making sure the right rower is catching up. Now I am completely even, rowing 22 kilos at 16 times like nothing. Gonna start rowing with the machine soon...

I have an idea why can it occur:
-Breathing problems (breathe well before, during and after workout).
-Blood Supply (check your blood vessels, your shirt, your fat levels, etc...)
-Warm Up
-Stretching
-Position
-Speed of performance (make sure both sides work at same speed)
-Nutrition

BlahBlahBlah... Basically, I am drunk and tired right now... Sorry for the lame post...
