This is my new workout routine that I have established to reach my final goals in terms of body fat and weight. I have increased the weight training aspect of my fitness plan, but I am limited by the number of excercises I can do. I am not able to workout at a gym because of the cost. I have a home gym however that I train with.
Sunday-Cardio usually I spend 2 hours walking at 5mph
Monday-Rest Mondays always suck I work 12 hours a day so I rest on Monday
Tuesday-45 minutes cardio 30 minutes weight training chest, bi, tri, and abs
Wednesday- 45 minutes cardio 30 minutes weight training usually legs and maybe my back
Thursay- 45 minutes cardio 30 minutes weight training chest, bi, tri, and abs
Friday- 45 minutes cardio 30 minutes weight training legs and back
Saturday- 2 hours cardio no weight training.
I usually walk my dogs during the cardio part of my workout we never stop I have them trained to take care of business at home before we walk so my heart rate stays up. This past weekend I logged in almost 22 miles of walking with them. I have three so I try to take each on at least a 45 minute walk. I timed myself and I walk at about 5.3 mph. Eventually I will turn that walking into jogging, but for now I will continue to walk. This past Sunday I walked all three dogs and mowed the lawn when I was done so I had a pretty good workout between the walking and the mowing. Since I have been doing this I have noticed subtle changes in my body again. The new jeans that I just bought are beginning to get baggy again. I have gone from a 40 waist to a 34 now and they to are beginning to get baggy on me. I'm still hovering around the 208 weight, but I would like to stay about right there. I figure with the muscle that I will be building I should maintain that weight. I am eating all natural foods now. I am drinking about 2 gallons of water a day and have switched to a low fat milk versus drinking whole milk like I was before. I am hoping that this will get me past the plateau that I am on now. Please be critical of anything that I am doing. I want nothing more than to accomplish my goals. I don't care what I have to do to get them done. I am addicted to excercise now and its a wondeful addiction.
Thanks,
Steve
