im not sure what your "routine" is.
im assuming you DO NOT know about the compound lifts you should be doing. is this accurate?

your neck will grow as the rest of your body grows. your not going to get a big neck without getting a larger overall build.

routine is fine been on here talked through it on here while ago... im doing the 3 x fbw been doing it probly since april now. im hoping my neck would grow to same time but it just doesnt seem to be!

I've never been an advocate of weighted neck work, I have recently been supported by an associate of mine who is a neuro-radiologist.

Weighted neck work is likely one of the most dangerous moves you can do. Aside from dangerous, they are rather worthless too.

You have two huge arteries running through your neck, not to mention your vertebrae.

if you have been working out since april, you cant expect your neck to grow like crazy. get big overall and you will most likely see growth in your neck.

neck work is mostly for fighters, and other people who for some reason needs very strong neck muscles. As pointed out before, weighted neck work can be risky.

Adler1983, id be interrested in hearing your associates arguments for why its dangeoraus. Not because i dont belive him, but i want to be educated.

Kark:

The tender nature of the vertebrae as well as the blood vessels in the neck may actually rupture when under intense loads such as weighted neck work, or even forced stretches. There have even been documented cases of chiropractic adjustments of the neck causing stroke (Although I personally believe in chiropractic whole heartedly).

My associate also explained that when a patient comes to his ER complaining of stroke-like symptoms, dizziness associated with neck pain, etc. They ask whether they have performed any weighted neck movements, or recently seen a chiropractor as these may be the causal factors of the problem.
