My name is Ryan and I am 25 years old. My relationship with diet and exercise has been a complex one over the years and I an hoping to gain wisdom and motivation from those on this forum so that I may one day inspire others to do amazing things.
I began consciously working towards my goals at the beginning of this year. In january, I tipped the scales at 280 pounds. Today, I have plateaued at 259. My loss thus far can be attributed to cutting out certain foods and beverages and closely monitoring my salt intake. This, of course, will only get me so far without exercise. Because of this, I have decided to incorporate outdoor jogging and p90x into my daily routine in order to take me to the next level so that I can reach my long term goals.
I was once able to run over 8 miles through the hilliest of ohios countryside. Today I would be lucky to squeak out a mile without being hospitalized. Ever since I let go of my running routine and lost all progress that I had made, it has been a huge goal of mine to get back to that point.
So ill do my best to be an active member of this community and hopefully give Moe than I gain
