Hi, i my name is lisa and i live in australia. I don't know pounds so i will use kilos for my goals.
I have lost weight before, but not in a healthy manner. i really want to lose it properly this time! i started a low GI diet today - i have a 6 week meal plan that i know i could stick to if only i had some willpower!!!. Already though i have binged on a whole packet of lollies...this has to stop.
I am 168cm...i think that is like 5'6"...i weigh 67 kg (147 pounds). This is within my healthy weight range, but i really feel uncomfortable with my body at the moment.
My Goals
1. lose 7 kg by Christmas. Now i know this is achievable as there is 11 weeks to go!!!
2. stick to my 6 week low GI diet - i really do love healthy eating, but i just get tempted too often with junk. Bring on that willpower!!!
3. get to the gym at least 3 times a week - i know this will be hard. I am working, studying full time and trying to get assignments written and exam preparation done. I do see a personal trainer once a week, so 2 other days will not kill me...starting tomorrow!!!
I know these are good goals that are achievable, now it is just dedicating myself to reaching them.
Short term, it is my 25th birthday in 4 weeks, so maybe i can get down to 65kg by then as a short term goal!!!
Any advice and encouragement would be gold!!!
