My Goal

I'm 15, and I was at the docotors for my physical for football.

I weighed in at 197 (with clothes, phone, no shoes tho) and I am 6'0.

She told me I need to use some weight. Then I went and bought myself some protein, because she said that is a very important key in loosing weight. Now, I want to get down to around 180-185. I will do sit ups, and lift weights every night while drinking my protein before and after the work out. I'd like some suggestions too. Next week I have conditioning week for football so I am hoping that helps.

Any suggestions?
 
I was wondering how many calories I take in a day, but I can really figure that out because I eat food my mother makes me.
 
What's your built like? Are you small, medium, or large frame? I assume you're large since you're 190.

Your goal of around 180-185 is very attainable, I believe. You can get rid of the 10 pounds in 4-5 weeks. For conditioning, running would be best. Running for stamina. Do sprints for the increase in heart rate and long runs for endurance.

6 days, 2 hours a day of running in 90 degrees of heat.

This online body fat calculator told me m body fat is 13.46%.

Week two I am at:

Weight: 194
Difference: -3
 
Yourdoctor recommended protein supplements? I wouldn't be suprised if drug reps might have influenced that advice :s
