Hi, im currently weighing in at 285 unfortunately, im 21 and about 5'9. I think i have the body type to be at 200 and look well built, only i have really just not kept on top of my health. I have tried in the past, and was successful once, where i lost about 15lb in a month or so, going to the gym daily and lifting weights with a friend. That didn't even include cardio! My friend shortly after got a job, and there went my gym partner....lifting weights alone is, 1) boring 2) not as effective.
Its actually 5am right now, and i am excited to start a new workout routine tomorrow, any input would be greatly appreciated as you guys are now my only real support/motivation (im shocked and extremely motivated by burneeed's post).
Monday: walk/jog for about 20-30 minutes, chest/back weight lifting for about 30-45 minutes.
Tuesday: 30-45 minutes cardio, or possible spinning class
Wednesday: walk/jog for about 20-30 minutes, Biceps/triceps/legs weight lifting for about 30-45 minutes
Thursday: 30-45 minutes cardio, or possible spinning class
Friday: walk/jog for about 20-30 minutes, chest/back weight lifting for about 30-45 minutes.
Im aware that i need to cut out all soda's and juices, and stick to pure water - 1.5 gallons a day at least, im going to make this one of my main priority's, even over going to the gym for what ever reason might occur. I think thats what helped me the most back then, the fact that i cut out soda's entirely.
Also, i think i might start taking hydroxicut again, after im used to getting back to the gym daily.
The only thing im scared about is the diet, im not a big eater at all, and im rarely hungry.....which makes me wonder WHY im weighing in so much. I currently don't eat much at all, no breakfast at all, and maybe 2-3 water bottles a day if that. As for soda's, maybe 2 a week, i do drink maybe 2-3 Gatorade's a week also though. My meals consist of lunch around 12-1, maybe subway or some sort of sandwich or left overs, and dinner with the family around 5-6pm, but thats really just it, i dont like sweet's so thats a plus, and im not a big fan of fast food (unless its subway or some other sandwich stop) I just dont understand how im gonna be able to eat 5 meals a day.
Another thing i might need to work on is my sleep schedule, which gets better when classes start, sleeping at 6am, and waking up at 1-2pm doesnt benefit me.
If anyone can please coach me on my diet routine id really appreciate that, either via PM's or AIM/MSN/Yahoo would be awesome.
