My Girlfriend needs help losing 20 pounds.

She had a beautiful baby girl last October (gf weighed 197 lbs after our daughter was born). Breastfeeding made her lose 7 pounds than when she started to work from Late February until Late May she lost 8 pounds from that whole time - Basically 190 to 182 lbs. Earlier this month I told her about the 3 day diet and the results after 3 days were that she lost 10 pounds (182 lbs to 172 lbs). She tried the diet again a week later but this time after 3 days she only lost 2 pounds (170 lbs). I kinda (and she did too, obviously) that the diet isn't healthy as she didn't consume as many calories as the averge person is supposed to. Melissa's goal is to get back to 150-145 lbs as that is her weight and has been in 2006-2007. She's 5'4" and 170 lbs.

She doesn't know what to do next exactly, she really wants to trim the fat and get back to the way she was.

Any suggestions or advice???
 
well here at the weight loss forum, we have tons of support and advice! you should have her sign up and do some reading. Theres lots of stickies loaded with info that will help her get started. Plus, all the support is so vital when weight loss is concerned.
