Hello everyone,
This is my very first forum, A friend of mine uses Forums for paintball, so i figured i'd give this a try
Hoping to get a few answers and maybe pick up some new ideas.
--My first question-maybe you can help--
Im deffinitly not new to training...I started when i was 13, w/ a personal trainer...And up until Dec 2007 I trained regularly. I've always been into sports as well, back in Dec i destroyed my knee snowboarding (couldn't walk for months) I was doing good up untill about 10 months ago, i started to drink alot, which packed on about 15 lbs. Now that im trying to lose that weight, plus an additional 5 lbs that came from not being able to work out during my injury...i can't even last 5 minutes without being in excruciating pain.
I also was born with the most sever form of Spina-bifida, therefore im not suppose to be able to walk, but i can, so i take advantage, but that too, causes pain while working out, i can work through that most times, just need to be careful.
I've tried so many different forms of exercise they all seem to end with the same result...PAIN...& having to take days off because im bedridden and can't walk.
Any suggestions on alternative ways of shedding the weight and getting back into shape?
