Started and hooked on a diet that I asked my doctor about before I did this experiment diet of mine he told me he didn't know if it could be dangerous.
My diet all food and beverage consumption each day.
Atkins meal bar x3
One for morning lunch and dinner
Diet coke
Lots of water
Nothing else!
Each bar contains 220 calories
3 net carbs
I eat one for each meal as a replacement for food. So that is 3 bars per day diet coke lots of water.
I want to make sure that I won't kill myself with this diet I know its lower calories and carbs but im determined after my doc wrote down severely obese. I understand its not a healthy diet but I want opinions please...

sounds like you will be doing a lot of damage to yourself. If I'm reading that right, you are only consuming 660 calories a day and that is very dangerous. There is no way a sane doctor would allow you to do that. Cutting down calories would take a normal person down to about 1200 calories and you will still lose weight. Going below that is very unhealthy.

First of all: muscle is what does all the work burning calories. That's why exercising is so important to weight management.
Problem with low calorie diets: if you don't have any food in your body to digest as fuel, than you start burning protein for fuel ... aka. muscle. So, instead of burning just the fat that you want to lose, you are also be burning your muscle away.

If you have no muscle, you have taken away your furnace that burns fat. When you start consuming healthy calories again, you will put the weight on super fast because you have nothing to burn your calories. It turns into a very dangerous cycle that you will never break out of.

Look for Paleo recipes. Or, to get started, focus on meat, cheese and vegetables. Things to avoid would be things like pasta and rice. Unfortunately, fruits are very high carbs.

I crashed out today went to the ER im not getting enough calories and potassium so I bought a big can of salmon ate the whole to feel a bit better it had 0 carbs but I bought it for the 700 calories since I've been in taking 700 calories per day. Yes im now looking into foods with calories at 1800 per day while cutting carbs.

I want to keep on low carbs but still confused on these atkins meal bars they total at 39 carbs per bar but after misusing the it = out to 3grams on Net carbs per bar. Does that mean ugh sorry im confused but my goal is 20 carbs a day and 1800 calories. If someone but if each bar contains 39 before subtracting wouldn'tthat be 39x3? Or just the 3x3? Since its 3 net carbs per bar i dont understand which ones to count to keep a 20 carb a day

If you are doing Ketosis (which is what you would be doing if you were aiming for 20 carbs / day or less), then it's the 3 net carbs that you would count (which means that in a bar of 39 calories, 36 of it is fibre). Ketosis is a dangerous thing to do, though. You should be easing into it and have supervision with a doctor or someone what has done it before because it can be hard on your body. It also doesn't work if you aren't doing it every day ... if you break off it before your body is in Ketosis (for multiple days), than you are wasting your time.

These bars have 220 calories and 90 Fat calories
Says total carbs 32g - 14 fiber 15 sugar alcohol = 3g net carb
Doing 3 per day so I need to find 17 more grams of carbs I think since you say I only count the net carb on this? Thanks 40 years old still learning about this nutritional stuff

Just started doing this change when my doc wrote in my files severely obese that label makes me very insecure

Picture of my target area I need to lose weight my legs and arms are just fine I have a scar across my stomach that I've been trying so hard to lose weight around and chest I do sit ups push ups and cardio everyday. I used to body build but my front side is my only issue now since I stopped 10 years ago

don't waste too much time on situps. That won't help with weight loss. The muscles are too small. Keep up with the pushups and cardio and maybe add it some squats to get the full body workout.

If low carb worked we would not have an obesity crisis

The obesity problem is because of high carbs, but only because of the high amount of calories in many of the carbs that are consumed, in collaboration with massive overfilled plates.

Pretty sure this "subliminal appetite control" is also BS. Just put less food on your plate and stay away from junk food.
