My daily workout!
This is my workout plan that I can do at home with almost no equipment. I looked up cardio workouts online and adapted it to me.
This is how it goes:
40 Jumping Jacks
20 Lie down stand up jumps (These were EXTREMELY tiring, but after awhile they get easier!)
80 steps running while lifting knees high
40 Jumping Jacks again
10 Leg raises (laying down with hands behind head, using core strength to lift legs)
15 squat shoulder presses holding two 20 pound weights
Side plank 15 seconds each side
After this I'm pretty out of breath, so I lift the 20 pound weights for 1-2 minutes while walking in place so my heart rate is still beating fast, but I've caught my breath a little bit. Then I start with more intense stuff:
10 more lie down stand up jumps
40 jumping jacks
30 prison squats
30 ski jumps
80 steps running while lifting knees high
I then do another 1-2 minutes of cool down with the weights, and then I do some more abs/crunches stuff
30 crunches
aerobics style abs workouts 2 minutes
15 situps
40 jumping jacks
80 steps running while lifting knees high
I then lift weights until I've completely cooled down, and then I'll do a Biggest Loser 10 minute cardio interval training video. I switch it up often and get them off youtube.
Do you think this is a good enough workout? I plan to increase the difficulty as I get fitter, I am also getting some rehabilitation and a personal trainer for my scoliosis, and my dad offered to buy me an elliptical so we'll see how things go.
