my current pic...

this is where i stand as of now...5' 9'' 180lbs and im almost 16...im hopin that this is my before pic...but with the lifestyle im being raised with it won't be easy...im obviously flabby, my chest is really large which makes it very hard to wear any type of shirt comfortably, which i can definitely say effects my self esteem...i always feel huge next to all of my friends since i hang out with some swimmers and basketball players...and my face is erased for a reason, girls dont give me much of a first glance...so whats your impression of this bad lookin bod?

You need a revolution in your lifestyle. Your bodies not that bad. I started out waaaaayyyy worse then you.

My advice:
Lift weights 3 to 4 days a week
Cardio 30 to 60 minutes 6 days a week
Eat small healthy meals every 3 hours
Eat more plant base foods, lean meats and fish
Drink plenty of water
8 hours of sleep a night

Learn about food and excersize and read food labels. Stay away from processed foods!!! Stick to veggies, fruit, fish, chicken, beans, whole wheat, nuts etc... Stay clear of fried foods as much as possible. Also, and this is not a belief that everyone holds, but I do better when I don't eat at night. I try to just drink water after 8pm.

ud be all good once u get ur diet on track. Small meals every 3 hours, try to eat 5 times a day to keep the metabolism up. Stick eating lean meats (turkey, deli ham, chickens, tuna, fishes,) oatmeal, protein supplements, fruits , veggies.... anywho.... what are ur goals? lookin to slim down? bulk up?

you started just in time!

Your at a good stage to start your training, If you work hard you'll see a really good turn around!

Good luck my man.

my goals are to slim down...because bulkin up with this body would make me bigger, which i dont want...i want to slim down first then focus on building muscle..

Full body workouts 3x a week with weights while eating 500 calories below your daily maintenance workout and getting about 1g of protein per pound of lean mass should work very well for you. The fat will begin to go away and be replaced with muscle. Cardio will help a lot as well. The key to everything is your diet, make sure your diet is good and workout as consistently as possible and you'll look like a different person in a couple months.

im in a weight training class in my school so im liftin weights every day mon-fri, alternating upper/lower body...the cardio is what i have an issue with just because i dont have very many options and i hate running outside just because no one else in my neighborhood or anyone i kno runs and i feel like such a poser running around the neighborhood with my music and running clothes and shoes...im actually joinin basketball in a couple weeks so ill have practice a couple days a week and a game on each saturday, diet wise im putting together a plan with 1500 calories and about 100-120 grams of protein depending on what meals i eat that day, but im not lookin to gain muscle as of now i would much rather maintain muscle and lose fat...i have a goal weight of 160 by december 1st

If you are just starting you should gain some muscle even while you are losing fat. Just make sure you keep your protein intake up and you lift weights, otherwise you end up losing muscle along with the fat, which isn't really a good thing.

then im just confused about how many calories...ive heard alot that 1500 calories is the standard to eat to lose weight, but every calculator online says i need like 2000 per day if i just sat around, so idk how much i REALLY should get...

hey im almost 5'10" weigh 220 so youll still better off then me,
im on a 1500 cal diet right now (been like 3 days). I eat 5 meals a day and have them be about 300 calories. Buy a bike, its my cardio and i lift weights about 3 times a week.
