For about two weeks I started my challenge. At first, It began with only working out. What I didn't take time to realize is that, I need to make a complete life style change. I can't just workout and just watch the fat melt off, I have to do more than that.

I spent my spare time educating myself about health and weightloss, and I got to say, I learned a lot. There are a few things that I began to change for my health and fitness, and I sure hope they work.

Here's a list of things I did.

- I stopped drinking all drinks but water. And plenty of water up to 64 to 150 oz a day. Some say you should drink a glass of milk, I get my calcium from cereal and cheese.

-I stopped eating white breads and pasta, and began eating whole grains.

- I cut down on red meat. Chicken, turkey and fish are a better alternative.

-I workout and switch up my routine every few days. From working on the treadmill til I burn 400 calories, or do a video workout until I am extremely out of breath.

Now a Little bit about me.

I am 19 years old, and I weight 166 lbs at the height of 5"5. some say that I don't need to lose weight, and that I'm perfect. My weightloss challenge, isn't all about my looks, and I have plenty of confidence even without the weight loss. This is for school, police foundations, and if I want to do good I'm gonna have to build some muscle and lose some fat.

Here's a list of reasons why I work out:

- Working out cured my depression. ( I got off my anti-depressants.) Just so you know, I've worked out before and lost 7 pounds, but gained it back cause I ran out of money for the gym and the holidays were going on.

- I have more engery throughout the day.

- I see amazing results.

-It keeps me motivated to stay healthy

- It makes me stronger.

I'm gonna post a picture later on today, of my starting weight, and we wil just go on from there.
