my before and after!

i lost 39 pounds all told, the before picture was taken by our tourguide in the ukraine, (as all photo taking of me was banned but she insisted! :p) i was bigger than that i just dont have any evidence (which is very cunning of me - wiped it from my mind) i just have some toning up to do but seriously i completly salute everyone battling with thier weight, its damn hard work, your all doing a great job on this forum though, keep it up :)

WAY TO GO!! Awesome job! And I agree with previous posters...you were beautiful before and even more beautiful afterwards.

I think we all look better after losing weight not simply because there's less of us, but because we FEEL better and our self-esteem shoots up and that comes across in how we start to present ourselves. I think I walk a little differently now that I'm lighter....with a little more confidence.:)

i know what you mean!!! things seem to affect me less, like i'll get insulted, or something bad will happen, and i'll just be like 'ah f*** it!!' wheras before i would somehow (in the way of all women with podge!) manage to attribute it to bieng overweight! i'm always really impressed when i meet a confident overweight person, i think that shows real strength of character :)
 
You look so pretty! You look like a little girl in the first pic, then you look like a mature, beautiful actress in the after pic! Great job!
 
It's true. In that first photo you were way too pretty and young to have that big spare tire. Those college years can be a killer for your figure!
