Hi my name is Jane and my daughter is Tayla, hence the name I log on with. My weight has been creeping on slowly for 8 years since I started shift work. I finally have made the decision to change careers and work more normal hours. I have a 2.5 year old and wish to have another baby within 2 years, and as this will be my last, I want to be as healthy as I can be. I also want to be a good role model for my daughter. I want her to look back and always remember her parents healthy.
My husband and I both need to lose weight. I need to lose 10 kilos more than him. Since starting our "lifestyle change", 9 weeks ago I have lost 13 kilos and he has lost 16 kilos. People aren't noticing me much and he is getting all the gasps and comments. I am proud of him but I can't wait until I get those responses. I want to look in the mirror and gasp! We bought bikes with a child seat and ride as many places as we can and I jog 3-5 times a week plus i am getting back into yoga and karate....You know it is much more expensive eating healthy but I feel sooooo much better and have 23 kilos to go. Hopefully by my daughters birthday in June...which is my self made deadline...then pregnant by December! If only things happened like clockwork. Well thats a bit about me...I look forward to visiting this site and hearing all of you stories in the future...Good luck to all of you......
