muscles being sore. not recovered?

simple question: If you feel that your muscles are sore, is that i sign they have not recovered from the workout yet, or is it simply annoying pain?
i was wondering cuz im still sore from my last workout, and i want to train again today, but im wondering if i should.

Yes.

Let them fully recover.

Doing too much hard training will devastate your muscles. They will not get a chance to grow.

If you do not recover for long enough, your muscles will not be ready for the next session. Muscle damage may occur and you can easily injure yourself.

If you are too sore, take a break.
 
Depends on what muscle you want to train. Soreness is an indicator that you are a newbie or you have poor recovery methods.

Personally i would work through mild sorness to increase recovery levels but it probably would be a light day IE active recovery.
 
I agree completely. If you aren't really hurting badly, then go ahead and workout, but make it a light day.. high reps, low weights.. that'll make you recover quicker than doing nothing.
