I lift weights furiously, one muscle group per week. I put my legs through a punishing workout once a week, and I do HIIT. Lately I've become aware of a lot of twitching in my legs. I don't mean jerking of my leg. But if you've ever had a twitching eyelid, this is what it feels like in my legs. I get these "gurgles" or twitches in my hams, thighs, calves, a little in the glutes, and on inner bottom sides of feet, and some miscellaneous ones in midsection and arms, but by far, most in lower body.
I don't know if I've always had these; it's just that due to unusual circumstances, I've gotten hyper-aware of body sensations, and thus, know every time I get a twitch. They start up all over, about equally, rather than having started just in one area and then moving on to others. They are bilateral and symmetrical.
Do any of you experience this? I'm wondering if it can be from strenuous exercise, and how common it is.
