I just finished a month of cutting, so I began to lift heavy again today. I was doing deadlifts, pull-ups, seated cable rows, hammer strength rows, and then I was doing hammer strength lat pull downs as my last exercise. On my third set, as I reached up to grab the right handle, my right calf muscle seized up and I was in excruciating pain for about 5 minutes. Then after, when I could walk again, I applied the foam roll on my right calf for 10-15 minutes or so. Came home and iced it.
So I guess, no leg day for me tomorrow. Anything else I should do besides ice it and foam roll it for the next few days? how long should I lay off leg exercises for? it's still tender when I press the spot.
