Muscle Soreness

Okay..I took a week off from exercising to heal my foot. Which led into an other week from being lazy!!!.....Started back my walking and gym. And now.....OMG... you would think I had never had exercised in the past 2 years!! :(
My muscles are soo sore...I can barely move my neck...and when I sit down on the toliet...I realize I have muscles in my legs I never knew about!!! :eek:

WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THE SORENESS??...I took off less than 2 weeks really.
Is there anything I can do to stop it?....Do I still walk and go to the gym tomorrow???
 
I say keep pushing. I love the feeling of sore legs when you go to sit on the pot! LoL
shows you that you did a pretty darn good job working out.... it's all a good thing! The muscles will get used to it... and water might help... at least thats what I've heard... Hope this helps dear....
 
Being sore is all part of it Sweetie it shows you that you are getting a good workout. I have to say what I do when Im sore is take a couple Tylenol and then just do more excercise. To me its kinda like when your drunk and then get a hang over so if you drink you feel better, well when I excercise when Im sore I do more and I actually feel better. Sorry I couldnt think of any other way of puting it....LOL. Anyway hope you feel better and just know this kind of pain is good!!! Even if it doesent feel good.
 
I'd say get back to the gym! I find that when I'm really sore it helps to do some light exercise. After a few minutes, it feels a little bit better, and after the workout I'm not as sore as beforehand. But it is really tempting just to relax and veg for a while!
