muscle get tight...

After about 3 different exercises, my muscle start to get tight. Is this normal? Sorry if its a newb question, ive been working out for about a month.
 
Yes, its normal for the muscle to pump up (increased blood flow to the muscle) and get tight when training. The muscles will swell up and increase in size (temporarily), vascularity, and tightness.
