Muscle gain while losing weight

Hey there, im new here, but i've used the forum alot already abd its done wonders for me. Im about 10 weeks into my 'programme', where i do 3x cardio and 3x all-body gym sessions a week. What im wondering is, is it possible for me to lose weight while still gaining muscle (increase in size+strength)?
Currently im undergoing a 500 calorie deficit, but im eating lots of protein, and i spend about 1-1.5 hours at the gym working my body (12x4 reps, increasing from low weight to high weight) and i run about 7 km/5 miles mixed with a bit of HIIT 3 times a week. Its just that i have had significant results in weight (10 kgs in 10 weeks) but i've seen little or no result muscle gain wise, although i have seen a bit of improvement in the amount that i actually can lift.

its hard to gain muscle at a calorie deflict. this is why people put cutting and bulking at different times. now you are cutting, when you feel satisfied and you have reached your goal, start eating more than your maintence and you will gain muscle.

I've definitely gained a bit of muscle since cutting. Not much though. I think I worked it out that in the last six weeks I've lost about 6kg in fat and gained about 1-2 kg in muscle. My biceps measuremenst are also up. This is on a calorie deficiet as well. I'm newish to the gym and a mesomorph which I heard makes it easier.

Sure you can build muscle and loose fat at the same time, But dont expect to see any change for a long time.
If you tryed to add muscle and loose fat at the same time the average guy may be able to get from a 36inch waist down to a 32, and gain about 14lbs of muscle in 12months.
I did the exact same thing in 4 months because I spent the 1st 10 weeks building my size and the next 6weeks just flat-out running, dieting and weight training.
