Munchies

So its annoying when your someone like me who smokes weed because when you get the munchies the last thing you'll eat is "good" food and especially when your like me whos doing cardio at the gym plus runs and watch what i'v been eating.
Today I ate a frozen borrito with some nice protine it in. A protiene shake with grapes/strawberries in it, A bowl of reces puffs cerial and for dinner I had green beens, mashed potato and 1 1/2 smokies. Was kinda like a big sausage. I had a bit of margaran on all of it and it was free of trans-fats. Later on that night when I got the munchies... I had 4 popsicles each with 13g of sugar in thiem. I also had 1/4 a bag of Doritos and a piece of cheeze along with 2 more bowls of reces puffs (dad stupidly bought thiem for me, **** stupid calorie :S blah) :D. I usually would eat more in a day and more healthy and normaly not munch out like this. Do you think I whent way overboard or w/e and I'll gain weight from what I ate.. Or did I not eat enough that day to exceede my calorie limit. My BMR is 2,005 calories and I worked out for about a half an hour at my house with free weights and whent on a 1 hour walk (normal pace not intended to be a "workout" but still i'm sure burnt some calories). Normally I would of gone to the gym and a 5km run but wasn't in the mood at all. Anyway anytime I go off my "eating healthy" routine I really beat myself up for it. Do you think the bit of junk food I ate really made any difference and do u think i still burned some fat 2day ?
 
Ahh u smoke weed, that'll explain why your spelling's all screwed up lol (j/k).

Personally, I don't touch the stuff, never have. never will. Not sure if this is true or not but won't smoking make the cardio harder for yourself? And, if you don't do it, you ain't gonna get the munchies either. Just my 2 cents though...

I was pretty baked when I wrote that post, lol. I'm not to sure about the whole side effects with smokeing and trying to stay in shape. I know its not good for u , heh :D

It's just gross in every single way possilbe, I think I am the only teen stateside who hasnt done that crap...or any drugs for that matter.

I could give you a whole big long lecture on why it isnt any good, but for cardio and staying healthy, as long as you do that you arent going to get very far.
 
I used to smoke pot and run every day. It actually made it easier -5 miles/day. The pot lessens your brains awareness to sore legs etc. so you can push yourself physically. Also, it's easy to side track your thinking while high so the next thing you realize your run is half done.
 
ijt. No affense but your a pretty closed minded person if you actually believe that crap :D. Your telling me I wont get very far at all in working out if I smoke pot but your wrong. I'v smoked pot every second day for a yr strait and in the past 3 months I started working out and have seen AMAZING results. That was the FIRST time I gave into munchies and I run constantly and lift weights lots. I take really good care of myself and if you haven't even tried weed you can't really say how its really bad and stuff. If you had some u'd probably love the ****. Not only am I doing wonderfuly working out I also have a very VERY awsome job awaiting me in Alberta with high potential for the future and, I got that through my resume; even though i'm a stoner. Mabey your refering to the permafried people who do it 3+ times a day and are so damn stupid its pathetic. I on the other hand have a fairly high IQ and have sufferd no motivational loss from the pot. It effects everyone in different ways. I'd say my grades whent nothing but ^ while I attended my final yr grd 12 because school was ruff and pot was a way to relieve stress and think things over. I wouldn't try anything other thien weed and I can't see weed being any worse thein alcohol. I'd say beer is alot worse thein weed when it comes to life styles and trying to stay fit. If you drink enough beer in NO time u'll have that pudge around your mid section from it along with thoughs grueling hangovers.
This is ofcourse only my thoughts on it and take no affense to what i'v said :)

Me too. I remember I was at the doctors for a check up and he was like "have you done any drugs?" , I said "No." He's like "really? you can tell me..". "Nope, none. Ever." He said, "That's unusual, why not?"
... I guess we're in a minority. :)
 
I think alot depends on the person. And alot of it is addictive personalities. Some have it and others don't. I don't have one. I smoke pot because I can not because I "have to". When I get bad sinus infections i'll quit for a month because it bothers my nose and it'll heal faster that way and I totally forget about weed. Thien a buddy offers me a joint when I'm not sick again and bam I light it up. When I leave for this job in alberta august 26th I wont have the chance to smoke weed anyway so It doesn't worry me :)
 
hey bloc and ijt- you aren't alone. I've never done drugs, never plan to. Just doesn't appeal to me, even though I take a lot of crap for it! So there's at least three of us! ;)
 
I never used to up till when I was 15. Now i'm going on 18 but I dissagree with all the hard drugs i'v had to many problems in my family from that. And no good comes from smoken Chron its just fun.
 
I know 3 people between the ages of 23-30 that have never done any drugs. You guys are out there, but definately the minority.
 
Yeah its a rarer thing. Iono I figure might aswel experiance life and try it out and roll with it. If you don't like it quit it. But not everyone can do that so iono.

Never said you wouldnt lose weight my friend ;) ...smoking tends to help that.

Yeah u seem smart, I like ya. Just sayin I smoke pot and I'ma stoner but it doesn't seem to cut me down in anyway and it deffinetly had something to do with helping me through grd 12. :) gl friend ttyl =D
 
I'm the same, 26 yrs old, never smoked or done drugs. Doesn't appeal to me at all. Alot of my firends are the same so I think it has a fair bit to do with who you hang out with. But even if my mates did do it, I still wouldn't bother.

Each to their own of course, if ya wanna do it, go for it :)
