Motivation. Where do you get yours?

Well I thought I would change it up a bit a post something different. Like the title says, what do you guys get your motivation from, be it for body building, weight loss or general fitness.

I ask because I know that some days it can be very hard to do whatever routine you have going. For me, since I began working out for good about a year ago, a jog or daily gym visit has become a habit and when I dont do it I feel bad and awkward.

And now to get to the real answer, I get my inspiration from everyone I ever wanted to look like and the hope that one day in the near future I will have the body I have always wanted. In addition, my motivation also comes from my results and what I have attained so far. For the people that dont know my story, check out my signature for my weight loss time line. People say that weight loss is hard and genetics play a big role. Well, ya Ill have to say it is hard, very very hard and for people who have not gone through it, well they dont know that work it takes. But that doesnt mean that it cannot be done. And as I near my final weight loss goals in the coming weeks and I set new goals, I just want to say for those that are currently trying to cut their weight, remember that anything is attainable, but it just takes time and patience.

So I look forward to hearing where your motivations come from.

depends on the time of the year! I try to bulk up a bit during the winter, lean up for the spring.
I have currently changed my whole routine to try to play over 30 soccer again in the fall.

Staff Sgt. Naylor and Senior Drill Instructor Wooten were my motivation for 3 intense months on Parris Island! LOL. Those were the days. Sometimes now, when I see myself lacking the motivation to workout, I think back to what they would say when someone slacked off, I imagine them in my face screaming and hollering! It works for some reason.
