OK..I dont know about anyone else..but i have many sizes in my closet ...some are too big, some are too small and some are jussssttt right..
i have always had these clothes that i just loved but couldnt wear because i was too chubby...and now i can wear them..and to be honest, they are kinda loose on me! I find this just as motivating as the scale..more actually!

still got my size 5's in the attic from before i was pregnant! yeah they are outta style by now im sure, but i still keep them and every once in a while take them out and wish i was that small again. yeah right like that will ever happen. :rolleyes:
 
I totally agree, being able to wear clothes that you thought you'd never fit into, is WAY more motivating then any scale. ;)

Its way cool to practically swim in the clothes that used to fit just right and even a bit tight.

Im to the point where if i want anything to fit i havta go out n buy stuff. My gf loves it but i dont like to shop.
 
I love getting into a smaller size, way better than any old scale....3 sizes K way to go, wonderwoman keep at it girl and those size 5 will be on in no time :)good job Vince, bet it feels good to get into new(smaller stuff) and im sure your gf doesnt mind doing the shopping ;)

Thanks you guys.. Man, its too bad I couldnt get this from the people I live w/...but im thankful you are all here and understand what its like. I am at the point that i need to shop but i dont want to invest in more clothes as I do not intend to be in an 18 for long.. thank you very much :-D
 
LOL.. someday maybe ill look good in it.. I dont have a 34 waist yet my dear..but im workin on it!
I went from a 48 waist to a 44...so im slowly chippin away... but I have a longgggg way to go.
for spandex in public at least!
 
Lol i was just having a convo w/ someone about spandex and how only certain ppl should wear it lol how funny is that :D
K 4"on your waist thats great!! keep going youll be spoting spandex in no time ;)
 
I just would like to not have any spare tire... spandex is still low on the priority list :-D LOL
I have found that its shrinking though! yeah..go away evil belly jelly

I think I actually forgot to post this in my diary, but I had a huge motivation and sense of accomplishment when i went clothes shopping for my grandpa's wedding. I knew which dress I wanted, and I thought that I needed a size 12 - normally, i would be a size 14... or higher.... but there weren't any on the rack. so i asked the lady for help and she brought me a 12 and came back to the dressing room while i tried it on. It was a bit big - i came out and asked her if that was how it should fit and she just shook her head and said she couldnt' believe i had asked for that big of a size. She brought me back a size 8 - and it fit so perfectly!!!! I was absolutely floored, because i cannot honestly recall ever wearing a single digit size - as long as I have been buying my own clothes at least... it is sooo encouraging!!!!
 
Wow! that is awesome amomono! that is really awesome! What a thrill! I personally cant wait until i can shop on that side of the store..ya know the "misses" side instead of the "plus sizes"! oh yeah..i will love that day
 
No kidding!! While I love the clothes at Layne Bryant, I'd love to only go in that store by choice, not because I can't get cute clothes in my size anywhere else. lol
 
right.. me too Michele.. I could wear the Gap if I wanted to... I just might have to buy 2 pieces of the same clothing & sew them together..but i could still do it ;-D
 
well lets see....last year before i started exercising etc. i was about a size 16 and now im a 12. that doesnt sound too impressive considering 40 pounds is gone. apparently i just dint lose enough inches i guess :mad: and about the waist, mine was never really that small to begin with. was about 27 or 28 inches i think a long time ago! now its like 34 inches. i think if it wasnt for this dam stomach i could squeeze into 10's.
